About Us

Weddings have always been part of my life. When I was born, my parents were established wedding photographers and also ran a wedding car business. They did this throughout my childhood and for many more years to come. I joined them in the early 90’s to offer wedding videos to the brides and grooms. We worked together for over 20 years.

After school, I studied art, design and photography at Derby Lonsdale College (now known as Derby University) and then typography at Stafford College. I then worked as a freelance graphic designer before working at John Ball Publishing working on page layouts for several of their regional magazines.

At that time, I was heavily influenced by storytelling and film making, in particular the films of Peter Greenaway, which is what started me off wanting to get involved in film. There was a gap in the wedding video market at that time, which gave me the opportunity to buy my first video camera.

I became so busy with the weddings that I never got chance to pursue that film career. But I don’t regret it because it was amazing to be part of so many weddings. The thanks that my parents and I received from so many customers will always be something to be proud of.

A little bit more about me. I love Formula One and have been vegan for 30 years. I also took up abstract art painting as a hobby about 10 years ago and love doing it in my spare time. If you want to checkout my art, you can find me on Instagram: @marklewisfineart

A rare occasion when we were guests at a wedding rather than being the photographer and videographer.
